Focus of the two websites are different, More small and single hotels on booking.com and More Hotel Chains on Expedia.
Main Reason of the difference is the distribution cost. Booking.com is the cheapest partner of Hotels. But Expedia Charge more higher brokerage. Prepaid is the main mode of Hotel booking in Euro, 2-3% credit card rate also Increased costs of Expedia.
